Getting near the end

It's been a long time since the last post, this is a condensed version of what's been going on.
The process of finishing out the interior has been pretty much completed. We worked throughout the winter cutting and fitting what seemed like endless sheets of laminate. In all, 32, 4'x8' sheets were used to complete the job. As with most of the projects in this refit, I underestimated the amount of time and effort this would take, however we're very pleased with the end result. The vessel interior has a airy feel to it. Not at all what one expects from the inside of a sailboat.
Big surprise, Brenda with a book.
The chart station is on the starboard side of main salon, chart table top lifts with storage for charts underneath.
Was a bit tricky getting these ceiling panels up.
Nice to finally get rid of the yellow countertops.
The galley came out looking bright and clean.
The forward 3rd cabin at the bow of the boat was the last to be completed. It has 2 single berths and as you can see, plenty of locker space.
This pic was taken shortly before Brenda joined me last October. Shows the oak floor in main salon as I was washing it with degreaser.
Teak flooring in forward cabins being sanded.
Sanding oak floors in main salon.
